Big pants, big love.

Oh, giant pants. How do I love thee? Let me count the ways.

First, I love that you have liner shorts. These pants are sheer, I was wearing acid green undergarments, and you can’t tell. Second, I love that you are made of such a lightweight material – if the last few days have been any indication, we will be having a scorcher of a summer, and these pants will be breezy and comfortable in overwhelming heat. Third, I love that I can sit cross legged in you and not feel any pinchy pinches anywhere. Fourth, I love how someone called out at me as I walked through the mall: “I love your palazzo pants!”

Of course, styling a pair of über wideleg pants when your legs are on the short side like mine, can prove a bit of a challenge. They do have the unfortunate tendency to make your legs look shorter (and wider) than they actually are. In lieu of hemming these bad boys, I’m going to keep them long, and exclusively pair them with high heels, thus maintaining the illusion of long, elegant gams (like my mom’s – I have been blessed with the shorter, muscled legs of my dad’s family). And finally, I want to end this on a note about Beyond the Rack. The website was recommended to me by a friend, and these pants were my first ever BTR purchase. Not only was the price right, the quality awesome and the delivery faster than I expeted, but I received a follow-up call from BTR, making sure that everything was alright with the package and delivery. I love good customer service, and am officially a loyal Beyond the Racker. A kind word and follow-up call are all I need for endless loyalty.

    • I’ll have to measure the inseam of these pants, get the company information… I feel like they MIGHT be long enough for someone with your gams. I’ll let you know! I’m so excited to have these pants in my wardrobe. So many different thoughts on how to wear them!
