I changed last night. No more Negative Nancy in this apartment. HAHA. Take that Aunt Flow.
Hat: lululemon athletica – it has a hidden pocket!

Dress: American Eagle
Boots: Knit Uggs
Yesterday is snowed in Winnipeg. This is why I love this city. It was May 3, and snowing. What a wonderful, mixed up world I live in.
Today, it is sunny, but chilly. When I woke up, the sun was shining, the sky was blue. I took inspiration from the sunlight and the last five days of non-stop rain.
Sunglasses: Out of the Blue
Necklace: Boutique in Montreal
Blue wrap: lululemon athletica
Wool sweater: I believe this was knit by my mother in the late ’70s or early ’80s. I stole it from her. I’m sure when she reads this post (my mom reads my blog!) she’ll let me know if I’m right.
Dress: Zara (Also stolen from my mom)
Shoes: American Eagle for Payless
Rings: Left had: Cabuchon cut Azure Topaz & White gold ring – I designed the ring and chose the stone as an 18th birthday gift from my parents; Right hand: Yellow Topaz and silver ring, 28th birthday gift and hand-me-down from my mom.
These are my two favorite rings. Sometimes the azure topaz ring looks a little like a mood ring, but I dig it regardless.
Oh, congratulations to Kendi from Kendi Every Day for completing her 30 for 30 Challenge! Also, if you like dance and New York City, check out these amazing pictures of Dancers in NYC. Unreal. This one is my favorite:
These were brought to my attention from Hot Robot. Dance is something that I do all the time. Never professionally- I don’t even really go out very often to go dancing. And by often, I mean… at all. But I am constantly grooving to any tune that might be playing, to my iPod, to the tune playing in my head. I’ve never resisted the urge to shake my ba-donk.
And this groove town tune always gets a shake from me. Enjoy!
