A nudge outside your comfort zone.

Sunglasses, F21; Earrings, Renner; Dress, Moon; Belt, Wishes and Dreams; Bracelet, gift; High heeled sandals, Zara.

Ever since my mother’s orange dress walked into my life, I’ve known I had to acquire one of my very own. A dramatically, fantastically orange dress. When I stumbled across this dress – marked down with further reductions – I knew I’d found my orange dress.

At which point, I stopped by a kiosk in one of my favorite neighborhoods, and the sales associate bullied me into buying this belt. While her sales technique was pushier than what I typically like, this isn’t a belt I would have chosen for myself. Her pushiness actually nudged me outside of my comfort zone, and I couldn’t be happier with this addition to my wardrobe.

When you’re shopping, do you respond well to pushy sales people? Or does that make you run for the hills? Let me know in the comments below!

I’ve been in a total hair rut, but hopefully this haircut will make a difference! And I love how the belt goes with the bracelet – I figured you would like the belt.

Want me to pick one up for you?
